Read MoreI love working on new trends and innovations. That's why I've been involved with IoT technology for a long time. In my previous role at an e-health company, I worked on a platform that unifies data from fitness tracking devices, such as step counter, calories consumption, etc. This was about taking corporate training to a new level with the help of IoT. I now have the opportunity to further develop my expertise and experience into a new exciting and evolving industry.
There is a special drumbeat here that makes work a pleasure every day. On the one hand, there is a vision to create something completely new in the field of safety and security. On the other hand, there are highly motivated employees who want to create something special. Everyone here in the team is very enthusiastic to make a special contribution to the product development. This spirit infected me right on my first day.

Most of my time I'm in a race against the clock. Not because it’s chaotic nor because projects are badly planned. I just try to give a little more effort to reach milestones together with the team faster than planned. I always ask what I can do for the company, not so much what the company can do for me. This pushes me and the team to always go the extra mile in order to achieve the optimal result.
What are the most interesting topics you will work on here at Security and Safety Things and what will be the hardest tasks to solve?
Our entire business model is so exciting that I find it difficult to pick out individual aspects that are particularly interesting. When you develop a completely new ecosystem for security cameras as we do at Security and Safety Things, there are many challenges.
As a pioneer in this field, we cannot always draw on experience. As the number of IoT devices increases, so does the overall security risk. It will be important for us to deliver and maintain a level of safety that is recognized in the market. This is an exciting challenge for developers.

With 5G, IoT will become more popular in daily use. The industry is constantly developing new applications for IoT for both private and business use. The fast transmission and processing of data opens up new possibilities for real-time analytics.
This is just as interesting for areas such as healthcare as it is for safety and security, where cameras not only deliver video data but also analyze it in one go. I want to help build the foundation for this.
